Operations :
During normal operation incoming AC supply is stabilized and made available on multiple sockets. Simultaneously regulated charger keeps the batteries charged.
The Supernova DX UPS System switches over to Inverter supply only when Mains Fails / Brown Out / Under Voltage / Over Voltage conditions occur.
In case the UPS has been shut off due to No Load and Battery low condition, the UPS goes into Sleep mode. In such situation if proper utility supply is restored UPS becomes live & starts giving O/P Power automatically. In case of UPS shut off due to Overload or Manual shut off, the UPS has to be started manually by pressing Front Panel ON/OFF switch for 3 seconds.
However irrespective of the UPS output available or not, the charger will be automatically ON as soon as the proper Mains is received by UPS.
The UPS provides adequate useful information about different operating conditions of the UPS, through AUDIO-VISUAL INDICATIONS, to user, that alerts him to take precautionary actions in advance. The audio-visual indications indicate UPS mode of operation, Battery status, Overload, Error, Self test etc. (For details please refer the User Manual).
