The  code size was to be reduced to 2K from 4K.

The customer operating in a competitive market wanted to reduce BOM . An economical Microcontroller was selected but with small memory size.

The existing code was studied in details. The common function approach reduced the code size. However the bottle neck was hit as new Controller was without sleep mode. A pseudo sleep mode was executed to perfection giving  2 year  extension to the product on Life Cycle.
